The UK’s first prohibition inspired Speakeasy festival is coming to Birmingham Town Hall on September the 14th as part of the ongoing tour around the UK. Inspired by prohibition-era America, when alcohol was banned and bars were forced to go underground, 1920’s glamour awaits as guests are taken back to an era where mobsters mingled with movie stars.
Follow in the footsteps of Al Capone and Bugsy Malone as prohibition fever sweeps the country and savour the very finest giggle water including World Gins, Bourbons and Whiskeys, American IPA’s and beers, prohibition cocktails and more. All purchased tickets will include a password (which is needed to get through the door), a free Tom Collins cocktail in your very own branded speakeasy glass – yours to keep – a prohibition wristband and access to the main stage entertainment.
All bars work on a token system which can be bought within the venue. Drinks are priced between £4 and £10. A swing band will be providing the music and an American food stand will be serving Chicago style pick-me-ups too!
Dress code is optional 1920’s Hootsy tootsy glamour, but the event is strictly for over 18’s only.
There are two sessions available: 12.30pm -5.00pm and 6.30pm – 11.00pm on Saturday 14th September.
