Broad Street in the City Centre was partially closed, near to the former Tesco Five Ways store, on Wednesday evening (26/01) following an incident on a bus.

Emergency services were called at around 5:45PM after a fire extinguisher was let off on a bus by a group of young men who had entered the vehicle via the emergency exit.
A number of passengers were treated for effects of fumes from the device, but it is not believed there were any serious injuries.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police, said: ““Police are investigating after a fire extinguisher was let off on a bus.
It is believed youths opened the door of stationary buses and let off a fire extinguisher inside.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible – anyone with information should call police on 101.”
