Everyone’s favourite tropical drink, just got even more exotic. Yes, we didn’t know that was possible either! The original Malibu rum will no longer be found on shelves all alone, as a Mango flavour is ready for the avid spirit sipper, just in time for a Bank Holiday heatwave, still with the creamy taste of coconut present, naturally.

This ultra-refreshing option will be a hit with those who enjoy sweet tastes and seasoned Malibu drinkers are set to be incredibly impressed with this new offering. Dark rums have a much stronger taste in comparison so this might be the tipple for you, if you are planning a summery afternoon of light drinking!

By now you may have heard that the sun is set to shine here in Birmingham over the next few days so we figured out a fantastic way to enjoy the best of both worlds, creating alcoholic ice lollies to cool you down whilst offering some well-deserved refreshment towards the end of this working week.

Mango Malibu Pina Colada Lols

120ml Mango Malibu

120ml Pineapple Juice

240ml Coconut Milk

1/2 Fresh Pineapple

8 Glacier Cherries

Squeeze of Lime

  1. Chop the pineapple and share between 8 ice lolly moulds.
  2. Insert a Glacier Cherry between the 8 moulds.
  3. Squeeze a little lime into each mould.
  4. Mix the remaining liquids (Mango Malibu, Pineapple Juice, Coconut Milk) in a jug
  5. Split between the 8 moulds until all gone.
  6. Then freeze for at least 6 hours.
  7. Enjoy!
