The Museum will transform to take you back to a Britain worlds away from the one we live in now. Across 14th & 15th July the institution will become an all-immersive experience with vintage cars, army personnel and war-planes flying overhead. The streets will be filled with 40s civilians, with organisers also encouraging visitors to adorn fitting attire for this incredibly interesting and educational event.
40’s style live-music and variety shows will entertain. Era fitting food and vintage markets will be set-up, and characters from the period will be on-hand to inform and talk guests through air-raid scenarios. What’s more? Churchill’s iconic speeches will be re-enacted to further capture the theme.
Regular opening hours and prices apply for the weekender and if you’re are unable to make this one the Black Country Living Museum have an amazing array of events on throughout the year. Whisky tasting, tram driving experiences and Halloween fright nights are just some of the events part of the programme.
