There has been high demand for a Build-A-Bear ‘Pay Your Age Day’ event today (12/07) so much so that the company has been forced close stores and turn people away in Touchwood, Bullring (pictured) and across the UK.
A spokesperson from Build-A-Bear Workshop, said: “Per local authorities, we cannot accept additional Guests at our U.K. Build-A-Bear Workshop locations due to crowds and safety concerns. We have closed queues in our U.K. stores. We understand some of our Guests are disappointed and we will reach out directly as soon as possible.”
Touchwood Shopping Centre, said on their social channels: “Our staff managed the situation & ensured visitors were safe & experienced as minimal disruption as possible. The store has now closed for today, customers should contact their customer services directly with any queries.”
