Oktoberfest is coming to Broad Street! Get ready to celebrate this seminal autumn occasion with the Oktoberfest Brunch at Bierkeller. Fans of beer and bratwurst, your prayers have been answered, as celebrated event hosts, Taste & Liquor, launch their festival season with Oktoberfest Brunch on Saturday 19th October.

Promising to be the most raucous festival this side of Munich, it’s time to grab a beer and a succulent sausage. In partnership with Birmingham’s only Bavarian themed venue, this event will blow your schnitzels off! Say Wilkommen to a day full of food, drink and fun!

Oktoberfest is celebrated for 16-18 days in Munich. It began as a festivity to celebrate a royal marriage. The festival later became a way to showcase and promote Bavarian agriculture. Now the festival is huge with large parades, many beer tents, and locals wearing traditional Bavarian folk costumes.

The Oktoberfest Brunch honours this tradition with steins of beer, as well as offering a non-traditional bottomless German-inspired punch between 12 and 1pm, accompanied by a rousing soundtrack of powerful trumpets! This is a party and a celebration so get your vocal chords warmed up for some sing-a-longs. The event will also have the fantastic street food traders that Taste & Liquor is known for.

Sing out loud to 80s and 90s German songs such as the classic 99 Red Balloons alongside some classic Brit Pop, Indie and Rock God anthems. There will also be Taste & Liquor’s signature 90s Hip Hop and RnB sounds to accompany the brunch.

The event runs from 12pm-6pm with tickets £10.00 at early bird prices and more on the door. This is an 18 plus event.
