British Transport Police has today (26/02) released CCTV images following an attempted robbery at Longbridge station in South Birmingham.
The incident happened between 11pm and 11.15pm on Thursday 9 January.
The suspect is reported to have approached the victim, a woman, and threatened her with a needle. She then told her to hand over her purse and phone.
A member of the public arrived, and the suspect left the scene dropping the needle as she left.
Anyone who recognises the woman in the image is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quote reference number 596 of 09/01/20. Alternatively, people can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
