Could we be anymore excited? Nope! Friends fans from all over are welcomed to put their knowledge of Joey, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Monica and Phoebe to the test on 27th March at the Brew Dog, where craft beer lovers come to drink up!
Ever since Netflix were kind enough to gift us with all ten seasons of the show in January we have waited for a reason to put all that binge watching to good use. The iconic sitcom often comes up on polls as one of the greatest of all-time and re-runs of the show are played regularly across channels to audiences who can’t seem to get enough of the nineties classic. With that in mind, those of you who aren’t quite up to scratch should be urged get watching, lest be shamed by an expectedly generous turn-out.
The Brew Dog can be found on John Bright Street, which is fast becoming the trendiest of hang-outs in the area. For sure, the place to be seen. There are ales for all tastes and luckily all strengths as some of their brews are not for the faint hearted. The Nanny State also providing an extremely light offering for those of you wishing to keep a clear head for the quiz, coming in at just 0.5%. It will be an Elvis Juice for us, a homage to ‘The One in Vegas’ where a drunk Ross and Rachel head to the Little White Chapel to say their ‘I do’s’. Take note, that could come in handy!
The quiz kicks off at 8pm but we’ll be heading there before to fill up on their delicious selection of burgers. Ours is a Jackpot – a feast of chorizo, black pudding, blue cheese & BBQ sauce with a brisket patty, pulled together by a glossy brioche bun.
What a way a great way to spend a Tuesday? If you are interested call to book your team’s place or pop in and do the same, that way you can stop off for a cheeky tipple!
