Gino D’Acampo, resident ‘This Morning’ chef and cheeky ‘Celebrity Juice’ regular will be opening the latest in his chain of ‘My Restaurants’ along the centre’s Temple Row.
The Italian inspired eatery will serve items from his hugely successfully recipe books and TV features, which he, of course, claims will be ‘fantastico!’.

Pastas, pizzas, fresh salads and popular Mediterranean delicacies, such as: Aubergine Parmingiana, Veal Meatballs and Cod Napoletana are set to wow guests, as have done in branches across the country including, London, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester.
The Italian theme will shine through-out with a prosecco bar, a deli & ice cream bar and a games room – complete with bowling, which has gathered much curious conversation. Although, we very much doubt it’s likely to be a sea of unsightly shoes, neon lights and slush puppies with enough sugar to induce a headache kind of arrangement! We hear it will be a posh substitute for the stereotypical amusement.
This news comes as many other Italian restaurants appear to be struggling. The likes of Jamie’s Italian, Prezzo and Strada are all revising plans and closing eateries across the UK. We hope that Gino manages to avoid this curse and please the folks of Birmingham with his sweet and savoury treats.
