Birmingham has been named as the funniest city in the United Kingdom, according to the study by lastminute.com.
The online travel and leisure site analysed over three million social conversations alongside consumer research, to uncover the laughter profiles of 25 towns and cities across the country.
Fabio Cannavale, from lastminute.com, said: ‘The British sense of humour is very unique so it’s very interesting to see what makes the UK giggle and even more so the contrast in humour between different towns and cities.’
