Looking to take a break? Need some pampering and relaxation? Popular The Spa at The Cube in Birmingham’s Mailbox has recently undergone a half-million-pound refurbishment, elevating their facilities for spa-goers looking for luxury treatments in the city.

Available for a single treatment, a full-day or even a weekend pamper package; The Spa offers both dry and wet thermal rooms, complete with a vitality pool with a jet and waterfall, gym and group exercise classes and Marco Pierre White’s Bardolino Restaurant. The new facilities include the extension of the relaxation area and more treatment rooms.

In addition, there has been an increase in the number of double and single full-length loungers and a series of hanging canvas cacoons have also be installed, accompanied by soft lighting. Two traditional Arabian Rasul mud-based spa treatment rooms are available, where guests can benefit from the exfoliating and toning treatments and detoxify the body with the health-enhancing properties of mud, steam and heat.

The new-look spa has also teamed up with product houses, which includes a brand new flagship Elemis store, Leighton Denny nail care and Lycon waxing technologies. With signature treatments from Swedish, Hot Stone and Oriental Head Massage, to Elemis Anti-Ageing bitoec facials, body wraps and targeted skin treatments with qualified professionals, The Spa offers a whole range of packages that are perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Jennifer Butters, The Spa’s manager is now looking forward to welcoming guests to the new look spa. She said:

“We were already the venue of choice for those looking for a spa pamper day or weekend in the city. There has also been a steady rise in the demand for spa days so it’s great news that we can now accommodate more people looking to make the most of their leisure time.

“As a leading spa, we’re always looking at ways in which we can improve what we provide our guests and the extension of the quiet zone is been something we’ve been wanting to do for some time. The treatment rooms will provide an intimate space where guests will be able to really relax while the new reception area, that’s light and airy, exude a sensation of decadence. It’s what sets us apart from all other spas.”
