Water supplies have now been restored to South Birmingham after two burst water mains caused no or low water pressure for residents in B13, B14, B15, B29, B30 postcodes last night and into the early hours of this morning (30/10).
Because of the extent of the damage Bristol Road in Bournbrook opposite University of Birmingham is down to one lane into the city.
Church Road which leads into Calthorpe Road in Edgbaston is also CLOSED due to a second burst water main which caused flooding on Edgbaston Park Road. Severn Trent Water has advised that Church Road could be until next Monday (5th Nov).
