Come on down to Zilch Birmingham – Birmingham’s first Zero Waste Market

-

Brand new to Birmingham, the first Zero Waste Market is coming to 119 Floodgate Street, Digbeth on Saturday 2nd November!

Perfect for those planning on getting some eco-friendly Christmas shopping in. This is the market for anyone trying to be a little more environmentally savvy. They will have a wealth of local and national traders offering sustainable, zero waste, and ethical products. There will also be a host of produce stalls offering plant-based and vegan tasty treats.

Zilch have previously held markets in Bristol to great success and are now expanding out to Birmingham. Their markets in the past have included naturally made massage balms, reusable cutlery and straws, bags made from recycled materials, lots of plant stalls, and beautiful eco-friendly artwork.

This event promises to be full of fantastic ethical goodies as well as hosting talks, workshops, and interactive art installations.

We all know we’re in the middle of a climate crisis and, while governments and companies have a responsibility, in the midst of all this chaos it can feel pretty good to make an individual difference – however small! This market offers the chance to dip your toe into the waters of sustainability in a fun environment!

The market will run from 11am to 5pm with £2 entry fee. Children under 12 can enter for free! It’s a great day out with fantastic food, great activities, and some really cool products.
