Detective Inspector Richard Marsh, West Midlands Police CID, is appealing for information after gunshots were fired at a house in Ladywood on Sunday evening (25/03).
No one was injured, but a property was damaged in Kelsall Croft, at around 6.50PM.
The investigation is in its early stages, and detectives are keeping an open mind about the motive.
No arrests have been made, but officers are speaking to residents and looking for CCTV.
Detective Inspector Marsh, said: “We would like to speak to the occupants of a dark blue Land Rover Discovery type vehicle with tinted windows that was seen in the area at the time.
“If anyone saw that vehicle, we’d also be keen to hear from them.”
