Baked in Brick, who are currently enjoying a residency at this month’s Digbeth Dining Club have announced that they will be opening a pizzeria a stone’s throw away from their regular hide-out, at the Custard Factory, very, very soon!

The team, who, last year snapped up the ‘Best of the Best’ title at The European Street Food Awards are due to welcome customers as early as April. Baked in Brick are renowned for experimentation, so indulgent toppings and inspired combinations are likely to be dished out daily.
They first parked up onto the street-food scene at the popular Digbeth street food event where they set up a refurbished Mini Cooper used as a barbeque for slow-cook gloriously spiced chicken tikka. A wood fired oven was built into the back of the classic car to produce the naan flatbreads to accompany and for beautifully simple, rustic style pizzas. Since those humble beginnings they have gone from strength to strength serving their specialities across the UK and internationally.
The guys are due to release further details of what to expect on their various social media channels and their website in the run up to their opening, so if you are eager to hear all the latest news surrounding this exciting venture, click here to keep up to date.
