After a series of sell-out UK shows, Teach Rex has announced that it will be bringing its interactive dinosaur show to the excited families of the Lapworth Museum of Geology. Get ready for a ‘dino-mite’ day and join Jam the dinosaur as he roams through the museum!
The brainchild of primary school teachers Joseph Parsonage and Sam Bryan, Teach Rex provides creative workshops that ignite young minds and stir their imaginations. Transporting children to an exciting world of dinosaurs and dragons, each session enables pupils to experience something truly magical. Using two life-like dinosaurs to perform their 40-minute show, Teach Rex teaches children about the anatomy and life of the most mesmerising creatures that have ever roamed our planet.
With dinosaur themed stories, treasure hunts and craft activities, these incredible workshops are complemented by materials connecting the experience to science, English and ICT, helping family members of all ages to continue the learning long after the session is over.
After visiting over 200 schools, working with The BBC, Sky Sports, Rainforest Cafe and many local charities, the team are looking forward to performing their first-ever Lapworth Museum shows on Thursday 20th February 2020 from 10:00am – 5:00pm.
The show is suitable for children of all ages and has even proven to be extremely popular with adults.
All events and activities are free unless otherwise stated.
