Resorts World’s Santai Spa, located on the second floor, has undergone a makeover.

Whilst focal features such as the outdoor Jacuzzi with lake views, swimming pool and mosaic hot stone loungers remain, new experiences include a dry floatation bed, relaxation area and leisure club memberships in the expanded gym.

Exclusive new additions to the all-new ESPA treatment menu are three specialist treatment ranges, tailored to males, maternity guests and cancer patients.

After training with the Amethyst Trust, Santai therapists are able to welcome clients with or recovering from cancer. Their nurturing therapy treatment involves adaptations of techniques to focus on aiding sleep, reducing pain, anxiety and restoring well-being.

Meanwhile Santai’s refreshed treatment menu draws on the Malaysian heritage of both the spa and parent owner, Genting, with the name Santai deriving from the Malaysian for ‘peace and tranquillity’. With a passion for wellness, the new menu tailors treatments on ancient Wu Xing philosophy, five key elements which, in harmony, are essential to physical, mental and emotional well-being; Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.

A range of new leisure club memberships, some including access to the spa facilities, indoor pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and even spa treatments, have also been introduced, starting from £39.

Santai Spa, which now features as part of the Genting Hotel, is set to reopen in May 2018, with bookings from 4th May onwards.
