Teens charged by police following a stabbing near Holliday Street

Detectives investigating a stabbing in Birmingham City Centre on Sunday (17/02) morning have charged two teenagers with robbery, possessing a knife in public and wounding.

It’s alleged the teens both aged 17 stabbed a 24-year-old man in a subway near Holliday Street just before 6am during a robbery, the victim remains in hospital in a critical condition.

The boys are due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning (20/02).

Detectives are still keen to hear from anyone with any information.
