After six years of a hugely successful Whiskey Festival, The Birmingham Whiskey Club will be opening the Jewellery Quarter’s first Whisky Bar.
The bar will be situated in a disused space within the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter. Combining culture with an eclectic array of whiskey concoctions.
The bar and tasting room will be open from Saturday 27th January.
Located in the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter building, the Whiskey Bar will be the last green door, on the corner of Vyse Street and Branston Street. The address it 75-80 Vyse Street, Hockley, Birmingham B18 6HA.
Amy Seton, owner and co-founder of the Whisky Club, said: “I set up the whisky club six years ago and have helped to build up a thriving community of whisky lovers. Opening a bar was the logical next step, giving our members a home and creating a space to introduce more people to the exciting world of whisky”.
Table bookings will be available to the club members, with the exception of the ‘nook’ – a mini tasting table for two. These will be available on a first come first served basis.
So whether you are a whiskey lover through and through, or a complete newbie, this bar will be the ideal location to try both unusual and classic whiskeys.
