Travelling along the West Coast mainline towards the end of August?
Improvement works are taking place over two consecutive weekends between Rugby, Northampton, Milton Keynes Central and London Euston.
Saturday 17 August – Monday 19 August
Buses replace trains between Rugby and Milton Keynes Central from 23.55 on Saturday 17 August until 05.00 on Monday 19 August. If you’re travelling during this time please plan ahead and allow extra time for the rail replacement part of your journey.
Bank Holiday Weekend Saturday 24 August – Monday 26 August
A reduced service will be in place between Northampton and London Euston over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Trains will still be running, but to a special timetable and the departure times for some services will have changed. Buses will also replace trains between Northampton, Milton Keynes Central and London Euston on Sunday 25 August until 08.30.
