Police are investigating an attack on a woman in Waitrose car park on Harborne High Street this afternoon (09/08).
The woman was followed onto the car park, at around 3:30PM, by another car which parked next to her.
Two men dressed in dark clothing and balaclavas approached the passenger side of her vehicle and one sprayed a liquid at the woman.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police, said: “The makeup of the substance is not known at this stage – but was not an acid attack and the woman was not seriously injured. She was taken to hospital as a precaution.
At this stage officers believe that the men were attempting to steal the vehicle.
