Birmingham City City Council says ‘challenging circumstances’ since adverse weather in early December are having an impact on refuse collections across the city.
A spokesperson from Birmingham City Council said: “Challenging circumstances since earlier this month, including the recent adverse weather conditions, have led to missed collections in some areas of the city.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and crews are currently working to catch up. People should continue to leave bins and bags out for collection and we will get to them as soon as possible.
“We would also ask people to continue to report missed collections after 3.30pm on the day they were due.”
