Detectives, from Solihull Police, have launched investigating into an assault on an 11-year-old girl in Babbs Mill Park, Kingshurst, on Friday (29/06) afternoon.
A spokesperson from Solihull Police, said: “The girl was knocked to the ground and taken to hospital with a cut to the neck. She has since been discharged.
The offender made off following the assault sometime between 2.30-2.50pm and enquiries are under way to try and identify him.
Reassurance patrols have been stepped up in the area while investigations continue.”
