A murder investigation has been launched following a shooting on Goosemoor Lane, in Erdington just before 7.30pm yesterday evening (08/08).
A 20-year-old man was shot dead and his family have been informed.
No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries are on-going to identify those responsible.
Reassurance patrols have been stepped up in the area to support and reassure the community.
