Police appeal for witnesses and information on pub shooting in 2018

West Midlands Police are appealing for information following a shooting at the White Hart Pub in Gressel Lane, Kitts Green, Birmingham on Sunday 28 October 2018.

A shotgun was fired in the direction of three people as they left the pub at around 10.50pm, resulting in one woman suffering life-changing injuries.

The other two people suffered minor injuries.

At this stage, the motive is still unclear and the investigation is ongoing. Officers continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward and have released this CCTV of people they need to speak to.

Inspector Richard Marsh from Force CID said: “This was an awful incident where a woman who was out enjoying herself has ended up with serious injuries.

“We need to identify the individuals pictured as we believe they may hold vital information about what happened.

“We also urge anyone with any information or anyone who knows who is responsible for this serious attack to contact us.”
